  • 3. Adde oryzam coctam et eam per patellam per 2 minūta lente misce, quāslibet massās cochlearī frangēns. Grāna nitidē separārī dēbent et odōrem holerum et carnis sūmere.

  • 4. Infunde iūs condimentārium ex lycopersicō et pergē lente miscēre per 1 ad 2 minūta, tantum dum oryza aequāliter obtegitur et penitus calefit. Iambalaya perfecta umida esse dēbet sed nōn madida, singulīs grānīs distinctīs et leviter nītentibus.
