  • Metode


  • 1. Campurkan gula dan sirup jagung dalam panci kecil berdasar tebal. Letakkan di atas api kecil dan aduk hanya sampai gula mulai larut dan campuran menjadi cair serta bening, 2 hingga 3 menit.

  • 2. Naikkan api ke sedang dan masak tanpa diaduk selama 4 hingga 6 menit, sampai sirup mencapai tahap pekat dan mengilap serta menunjukkan suhu 118°C pada termometer digital. Sirup harus jatuh dari sendok dalam bentuk pita tebal.

  • 3. Angkat dari api dan biarkan gelembungnya mereda selama 30 detik. Sendokkan atau semprotkan sirup ke dalam cetakan atau ke atas loyang beralas dalam satu porsi kecil.

  • 4. Biarkan permen mengeras pada suhu ruang selama 8 hingga 10 menit, sampai padat saat disentuh dan sepenuhnya buram dengan permukaan halus.
