  • 2. Dum pasta coquitur, vitellum ovi, parmesan, et piper nigrum in cratere miscendi coniunge. Misce donec spissum et cohaerens fiat. Mixtura densa esse debet, non fluida.

  • 3. Pancetta et oleum olivae in patina ampla ad assandum super ignem medium pone. Coque per 4 ad 5 minuta, interdum movendo, donec adeps liquescat et pancetta ad margines leviter crocans sit.

  • 4. Adde allium et cepam in patinam. Coque per 2 ad 3 minuta, constanter movendo, donec cepa translucida sit et allium fragrant, sed non coloretur. Remove allium si obscurari incipit.

  • 5. Spaghetti directe ex aqua in patinam ad assandum tolle, sinens paululum aquae coctionis filamentis adhaerere. Iacta super ignem humilem per 30 secundas, ut pasta adipem liquefactum et basim aromaticam absorbeat.

  • 6. Patinam ab igne remove. Adde mixturam ovi et parmesan, fortiter iactando per 30 ad 45 secundas. Adde parvum tantum asperginem aquae pastae reservatae, si opus est, ut ius lene et nitidum fiat quod singula fila obtegat sine coagulatione. Ius perfectum debet esse cremosum et fluens, non nimis liquidum.

  • 7. Gusta et corrige paulo plus piperis nigri, si opus est. Statim servi dum pasta flexibilis manet et ius emulsum est.
