  • Metode


  • 1. Plaas die water, bruinsuiker, botter, kaneel en kardemom in die soteerpan. Sit oor medium hitte en bring tot ’n sagte prut, roer net totdat die suiker oplos en die botter heeltemal geëmulgeer is, ongeveer 2 minute. Die vloeistof moet warm gekruid ruik en glansend lyk, nie olierig nie.


  • 2. Voeg die peer- en appelwiggies by, indien moontlik in ’n enkele laag. Bedek en posjeer oor lae hitte vir 12 tot 15 minute, en draai die vrug een keer halfpad deur om. Die vrug moet eweredig sag word, sy vorm behou en maklik meegee by die punt van ’n mes sonder om in te sak.


  • 3. Verwyder die deksel en kook verder vir 2 tot 3 minute, terwyl jy die vrug met die stroop bedruip soos dit effens reduseer. Die stroop moet die agterkant van ’n lepel liggies bedek en in ’n dun glanslaag kleef.
