’n Klassieke pastagereg met rigatoni wat in ’n eenvoudige tamatiesous gemeng word en met frikkadelle bedien word. Dit is vullend, hartig, en word die beste afgerond met ’n bietjie swartpeper.

  • 140 g frikkadelle

  • 90 g tamatiesous

  • 8 g groente-olie

  • 4 g ui, fyn gekap

  • 3 g knoffel, fyngekap

  • 3 g sout

  • 2 g swartpeper

  • 1. Bring ’n pot gesoute water tot kookpunt en kook die rigatoni tot al dente. Dreineer goed.

  • 2. Verhit die groente-olie in ’n pan oor medium hitte. Voeg die ui by en kook tot sag.

  • 3. Voeg die knoffel by en kook kortliks tot geurig.

  • 4. Roer die tamatiesous by en laat prut vir ’n paar minute. Geur met sout en swartpeper.

  • 5. Voeg die frikkadelle by die sous en verhit deur tot heeltemal warm.

  • 6. Meng die gaar rigatoni met die sous en frikkadelle, en bedien dan dadelik.
