  • Postopek


  • 1. Pečico segrejte na 180°C. Z oljem premažite 4 vdolbine pekača za mafine, tako da enakomerno prekrijete dno in stranice, da se mafini lepo sprostijo iz modela.

  • 2. Slanino dajte v majhno ponev na srednji temperaturi in jo pecite 4 do 5 minut, občasno premešajte, dokler se maščoba ne iztopi in slanina rahlo porjavi. Na kratko jo odcedite na papirju, nato jo enakomerno razdelite med pripravljene vdolbine.

  • 3. V skledi z metlico stepite jajca, mleko, sol in črni poper le toliko, da je zmes gladka in enotna. Ne mešajte preveč; jajčna krema mora ostati lahka.

  • 4. Vmešajte cheddar in zelena zelišča, nato zmes enakomerno prelijte čez slanino v modelčkih za mafine, tako da vsakega napolnite skoraj do vrha.

  • 5. Pecite 16 do 18 minut, dokler mafini ne narastejo, sredina ni ravno prav strjena in površina na otip ni prožna z rahlim tresljajem na sredini. Jajca morajo ostati nežna, ne suha.

  • 6. Vzemite iz pečice in pustite počivati v pekaču 3 minute. Previdno jih vzemite iz modela, dokler so še topli.
