  • 40 g slanine, isečene na sitne štapiće

  • 5 g ulja

  • 120 g jaja

  • 20 g mleka

  • 20 g cheddar sira, sitno narendanog

  • 4 g zelenog začinskog bilja, sitno seckanog

  • 1.5 g soli

  • 0.5 g crnog bibera


  • Postupak


  • 1. Zagrejte rernu na 180°C. Premažite 4 udubljenja pleha za mafine uljem, ravnomerno po dnu i stranicama, kako bi se mafini lako vadili.

  • 2. Stavite slaninu u mali tiganj na srednju vatru i pecite 4 do 5 minuta, povremeno mešajući, dok se mast ne istopi, a slanina blago ne porumeni. Kratko ocedite na papiru, pa ravnomerno rasporedite u pripremljena udubljenja.

  • 3. U posudi umutite jaja, mleko, so i crni biber samo dok smesa ne postane glatka i ujednačena. Nemojte je previše mutiti; krem od jaja treba da ostane lagan.

  • 4. Umešajte cheddar i zeleno začinsko bilje, zatim smesu ravnomerno sipajte preko slanine u udubljenja pleha za mafine, puneći svako skoro do vrha.

  • 5. Pecite 16 do 18 minuta, dok mafini ne narastu, sredina se tek stegne, a površina na dodir bude elastična uz blago podrhtavanje u sredini. Jaja treba da ostanu nežna, ne suva.

  • 6. Izvadite iz rerne i ostavite da odmore u plehu 3 minuta. Pažljivo ih izvadite dok su još topli.
