Taco ini berasaskan kesederhanaan: tortilla jagung yang hangat, inti daging berperisa, dan kesegaran bersih daripada salad serta tomato, diakhiri dengan keju dan salsa. Keseimbangannya mesti tepat, dengan haba dan kelembapan yang cukup daripada inti untuk melembutkan tortilla tanpa membuatnya runtuh.   • Tortilla jagung, 90 g

  • Inti daging berperisa, 120 g

  • Salad, dihiris halus, 20 g

  • Tomato, dipotong dadu halus, 20 g

  • Kaedah


  • 1. Panaskan kuali atau plat pemanggang di atas api sederhana. Panaskan tortilla jagung selama 20 hingga 30 saat bagi setiap sisi, hanya sehingga lembut dan sedikit beraroma. Kekalkan ia hangat dan lentur; ia sepatutnya boleh dilipat tanpa retak.

  • 2. Panaskan inti daging berperisa dalam kuali tumis kecil di atas api sederhana selama 3 hingga 4 minit, kacau sekali atau dua kali, sehingga panas sepenuhnya dan sedikit berkilat. Inti hendaklah lembap, padu, dan berwap, bukan berair.

  • 3. Letakkan tortilla di atas pinggan hidang yang hangat. Bahagikan inti daging sama rata di antaranya, pastikan bahagiannya berada di tengah supaya taco mengekalkan bentuknya.

  • 4. Letakkan salad di atasnya, kemudian tomato, kemudian keju. Akhiri dengan salsa, agihkan secara sekata supaya ia memberi perasa tanpa membanjiri tortilla.

  • 5. Lipat dan hidangkan segera. Taco yang siap hendaklah hangat, seimbang, dan tersusun kemas, dengan tortilla yang masih lembut dan inti yang kekal jelas.
