  • 1. Ponev segrevajte na srednji temperaturi 1 minuto. Dodajte rastlinsko olje in ga segrevajte, dokler se ne razrahlja in rahlo zalesketa, približno 20 sekund.


  • 2. Dodajte piščanca in taco začimbno mešanico. Pecite 6 do 8 minut ter piščanca med peko obračajte in razdvajajte na manjše kose. Piščanec mora biti popolnoma pečen, neprosojen po vsej površini in rahlo prevlečen z začimbami.


  • 3. Dodajte salso rojo in kuhajte še 2 minuti, medtem ko mešate in pritiskate na piščanca, da vpije omako. Nadev mora biti vlažen, vendar ne tekoč, s povezano teksturo, ki jo je mogoče zajeti z žlico.

  • 8. Stranici prepognite navznoter, nato pa od spodaj tesno zvijte v zaprt burrito. Pred serviranjem ga pustite počivati 1 minuto s spojem navzdol, da se utrdi.

    Burrito postrezite celega, s spojem navzdol, tako da je linija zvitka urejena in nepoškodovana. Tortilja mora ostati mehka in topla, nadev pa uravnotežen med slanim piščancem ter svežo, hrustljavo zelenjavo. Končni grižljaj mora biti čist, sočen in dobro zadržan v ovoju.
