  • 1. Í litlum potti, þeytið saman mjólk, rjóma, sykur, kakó og vanillu þar til blandan er kekkjalaus.

  • 2. Hitið við meðalhita þar til gufar úr, en látið ekki sjóða.

  • 3. Í skál, þeytið eggjarauðuna létt.

  • 4. Hellið heitu kakóblöndunni rólega út í rauðuna á meðan þið þeytið stöðugt til að tempra hana.

  • 5. Setjið blönduna aftur í pottinn og eldið við lágan hita, hrærið stöðugt, þar til hún þykknar nóg til að hjúpa bakhlið skeiðar.
