Sparkling Protein Energy Drink with Chocolate Almond Oat Bar
A composed bottled energy drink and a restrained protein bar, built for clarity of flavor and functional purpose. The drink is bright, lightly sweet, and clean on the palate, while the bar brings measured richness, nut texture, and a firm chocolate finish. Together they form a disciplined pair: lifted, substantial, and precise.

Ingredients
Sparkling protein drink
Carbonated water, 330 g
Whey protein blend, 16 g
Milk protein isolate, 5 g
Soluble corn fiber, 8 g
Glycerin, 6 g
Natural flavors, 1 g
Citric acid, 1 g
Caffeine, 1 g
Salt, 1 g
Vitamin blend, 1 g
Chocolate almond oat bar
Almonds, 7 g, finely chopped
Chocolate coating, 8 g
Oats, 3 g
Peanuts, 2 g, finely chopped
Sunflower oil, 2 g
Method
1. Prepare the bar base. Place the almonds, oats, and peanuts in a small bowl and combine evenly. Their textures should remain distinct, but the distribution must be uniform.
2. Melt and bind. Warm the sunflower oil gently in a small saucepan over low heat, then add the chocolate coating. Stir continuously for 1 to 2 minutes until just melted and glossy, with no visible solid pieces.
3. Form the bar. Add the nut and oat mixture to the melted chocolate and fold until evenly coated. Press the mixture firmly into a small silicone bar mold or a lined loaf mold. Compact it well so the bar slices cleanly and holds its shape.
4. Set the bar. Transfer to the refrigerator for 10 minutes, or until firm to the touch and the surface is set with a clean chocolate sheen.
5. Build the drink base. In a heatproof bowl, combine the whey protein blend, milk protein isolate, soluble corn fiber, glycerin, natural flavors, citric acid, caffeine, salt, and vitamin blend. Whisk until the powders are fully dispersed and the mixture appears uniform.
6. Incorporate the carbonated water. Add the carbonated water in a slow stream while whisking gently. The liquid should remain lively but not foam excessively; the finished drink must be smooth, lightly effervescent, and free of visible clumps.
7. Bottle and chill. Immediately transfer the drink to a bottle or sealed serving vessel. Chill for 5 minutes before serving so the carbonation settles into a fine, crisp bead and the flavor reads cleanly.
Plating and serving
Serve the chilled bottle alongside the set bar, either whole or cut cleanly into a single neat portion. The presentation should be spare and exact: one cold, sparkling drink and one compact bar with a firm chocolate edge. The balance is in contrast—lift from the beverage, density from the bar.
Professional notes
Add the carbonated water last and with restraint; aggressive whisking will flatten the drink.
The bar must be pressed firmly before chilling, or it will crumble rather than slice with precision.
Serve both components cold for the sharpest flavor definition and the cleanest texture.
