  • Method

  • 2. Warm the mini pancakes in the same pan over low heat for 1 to 2 minutes, turning once, just until supple and heated through. They should remain pale and tender, not browned.


  • 3. Reheat the scrambled eggs gently in the pan with the remaining butter or oil over low heat for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring only enough to loosen them. They should be soft, glossy, and just set, with no dryness at the edges. Season with the remaining salt and the black pepper.


  • 4. Arrange the smoked salmon on the plate in loose folds so it sits lightly rather than flat. Place the warm scrambled eggs beside it, then set the hash brown and mini pancakes together to one side to create height and contrast.


  • 5. Add the banana slices, cucumber slices, green grapes, and white cheese cubes in separate, tidy clusters. Keep the fresh elements cool and distinct from the warm components.


  • 6. Place the mini pink frosted donut with sprinkles on the plate as the sweet finish. Dust it very lightly with the powdered sugar, using only enough to soften the surface without obscuring the glaze.
