French Fries with Meatballs

A simple plate of crispy French fries served with pan-fried beef meatballs. This resembles a classic comfort-food combination of fries and meatballs, often served as a casual main dish.

Ingredients
  • Potatoes, 160 g

  • Ground beef, 70 g

  • Breadcrumbs, 15 g

  • Egg, 20 g

  • Vegetable oil, 10 g

  • Salt, 3 g

  • Black pepper, 2 g

  • Total: 280 g

    Instructions
  • 1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into fry shapes.

  • 2. Mix the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and black pepper in a bowl until just combined.

  • 3. Shape the meat mixture into small meatballs.

  • 4. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan. Fry the potatoes until golden and crisp, then drain.

  • 5. In the same or a separate pan, fry the meatballs over medium heat until browned and cooked through.

  • 6. Serve the fries with the fried meatballs hot.

  • Prep time: 15 minutes
    Cook time: 20 minutes

    Helpful tips
  • Do not overmix the meatball mixture, or the texture can become dense.

  • Fry the potatoes in batches for better crispiness.

  • Cook the meatballs until no pink remains in the center.

    Your body keeps score.

OKKAI ingests your sleep, exercise, food, weight, age, location and weather data. It breaks food down to its smallest compounds, computes vitamin and mineral half-lives, and models your body's current state as accurately as possible from all available data.

The OKKAI engine keeps track of what cannot be seen.

    Computed every hour.

Your body is never static. Vitamins deplete, minerals interact, absorption rates shift with activity and time of day.

The engine recomputes every hour in order to give a suggestion on what to eat and when.

    Deep Apple Health integration.

OKKAI reads from and writes to Apple Health — bi-directionally. Every meal pushes macros, vitamins, and minerals into your health record. Every workout and sleep session flows back into OKKAI's analysis.
