Ingredients
  • Beef steak 180 g

  • Mashed potatoes 160 g

  • Butter 15 g

  • Heavy cream 20 g

  • Chives 5 g

  • Brown pan sauce 25 g

  • Beef stock 10 ml

  • Red wine 5 ml

  • Garlic 3 g

  • Black pepper 1 g

  • Salt 1 g

  • Cooking oil 5 ml


  • Total weight: 430 g

    Instructions
  • 1. Season the beef steak with salt and black pepper.

  • 2. Heat cooking oil in a pan over medium-high heat and sear the steak until browned and cooked to your preferred doneness. Rest briefly.

  • 3. In the same pan, add garlic, then deglaze with red wine and beef stock. Stir in the brown pan sauce and simmer until slightly reduced.

  • 4. Warm the mashed potatoes with butter and heavy cream until smooth and creamy.

  • 5. Plate the mashed potatoes, slice or place the steak on top or beside them, and spoon the sauce over the steak.
